Qfinity Labs Continues to Expand its Execution Tools and Algorithms

April 16, 2021

Buy-side focus on FX exposure will drive development

While the uptake of algorithmic trading in foreign exchange has not seen the usage compared to other markets, since the first-generation algorithms appeared over 10 years ago, exchanges, brokers and market participants say it is finally taking off, in part due to the buy-side demands.

While the banks and FX trading platforms are not required to report on the percentage of their trade volumes executed through algorithms, Qfinity Labs says adoption by buy-side institutions has increased year on year and they expect to see an even bigger rise in 2021 of around 30 per cent.

Qfinity Labs is building a wider range of execution tools and developing more algorithms for use on partner CFD brokerage platform FVPtrade. Lead researcher Dr David Moche believes that Quantum technologies will play a bigger role and continue to reshape the foreign exchange market over the next few years.

The move comes as the demand for better means of execution by the buy-side increases, while there is a decreasing appetite for risk on the sell-side.

Qfinity Labs is very proud of their work in developing stable and profitable trading algorithms to help customers become more profitable in financial trading.

Dr David Moche said, “we have seen some really strong results generated by our Quantum algorithms, the next step is to have algorithms customized to a wider group of market participants by the end of 2021.

Below is the data from myfxbook.com for the past 6 months showing the algorithmic trades executed by FVPtrade:

Our flagship algorithm “QuantumF1” generated over 84 percent returns over the past 6 months, with an extremely low drawdown of 2.72% which is an outstanding result.

However, this is still only the beginning as Qfinity Labs continues to keep its eye on the future with its technological products giving users the ability to select from a wide range of balanced strategies based on smart diversification achieved by the use of algorithmic and traditional methods that are applied on various exchange platforms.

Apart from trading bots and quantum computing constructs, Qfinity Labs offers a host of other products as well, reinforcing the company’s goal as a full-package ecosystem of interconnected applications. Some projects in the pipeline to be completed over the next 5 years include:

● Qfinity Next Gen Lithium Air Battery (量子锂电电池)
● Vaccine Development Technology (更全面的疫苗研发系统)
● QCom – a quantum based communication app able to process 4k resolution video calls (量子计算的通讯软件)
● Quantum Financial Forecasting Software (市场预测系统)

Whether you like it or not, Quantum will rule the world in the near future. It is important to keep attracting and developing talents so that Qfinity Labs can continue to be relevant for the next decade. “My vision to grow Qfinity Labs to become a strong player in the Quantum Computing industry never wavered despite all the setbacks we encountered due to the pandemic. We believe 2021 will be a much better year compared to 2020”, said Dr David Moche.
